Chocolate Cake with Cream Cheese Frosting

This basic from-scratch two-layer chocolate cake is perfectly paired with chocolate cream cheese frosting. A fantastic celebration cake!

CAKE INGREDIENTS

CREAM CHEESE FROSTING INGREDIENTS

1 - Melt the butter, milk, coffee and vanilla together. 

2 - Beat sugar and eggs together.  Add the butter-mixture. 

3 - Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix to combine. 

4 - Divide between 2x8 inch cake pans. Bake. Cool. 

5 - Make chocolate cream cheese frosting and decorate. 

6 - Slice and serve.
