These easy, homemade, date scones are packed with chopped dates and flavored with cinnamon making the best snacking scone ever! These scones can be enjoyed with some butter and jam or marmalade.
1 - Whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
2 - Rub the butter into the flour mixture.
3 - Toss in the dates and milk. Stir to form a rough dough.
4 - Laminate the scone dough 3 times.
5 - Press into a circle, about 1 inch thick. Divide into 8. Brush with milk and bake.
6 - Allow to cool slightly before serving.
