Hot Cross Bun Pudding

This easy, delicious, homemade hot cross bun pudding is a twist on the classic bread and butter pudding but made with leftover hot cross buns.

Hot cross buns are also pretty easy to make!

Vanilla

Ingredients

Brown Sugar

Butter

Cream & Milk

Orange Zest

Eggs

Slice and butter both sides of the buns.

Whisk together the milk, eggs, cream, and sugar & zest.

Arrange the buns in a dish and pour over the custard base.

Rest for 45 minutes.

Bake at 170°C/340F for 45 minutes.

Serve with ice cream and fresh berries.
