Gather the ingredients.

Hydrate the yeast in warm milk and sugar.

Add the yeast mixture, egg, and butter to the flour and salt. Knead the dough.

Let the dough proof in a warm place until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 4, and roll out into round pieces. Spread with Nutella and repeat 3 x, then place the final piece on the top.

Place a cookie cutter in the middle, and then cut 16 equal portions.

Bake until golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar and serve!

Grab 2 portions next to each other. Twist 3x away from each other and then pinch the ends together. Allow to rise.
